The annual RPL once again brought our Ropstam family together in a burst of energy, competition, and camaraderie. This year, eight spirited teams faced off, showcasing not just cricketing skills but true teamwork and organizational pride. As we mark RPL 2025, we reflect on the journey, the standout moments, and the triumphant finale.
The Opening Weekend & Team Line-Up
From the moment the cricket ground buzzed with voices, cheers, and anticipation, RPL 2025 set the tone for a weekend to remember. Eight teams took to the field, each determined to stake their claim. Matches were held across two full days. The morning sunlight and cheering crowds created the perfect backdrop as teams played round-robin games, each looking to secure a spot in the knockout stage. The atmosphere was electric — from the sound of leather on willow to cheers echoing from the stands.
Road to the Final
As the group stage concluded, four teams progressed to the semi-finals: Scouts, Warriors, Tigers, and United based on points and net run rate. In the semi-final clash, Scouts advanced after a composed performance, while Warriors overturned their opponents with a spirited display of batting and fielding.
Thus, the stage was set for a thrilling showdown: Scouts vs Warriors. Both teams had earned their place, and now it was winner-takes-all.
Behind the Scenes & Team Spirit
Beyond the boundary lines, RPL 2025 was about more than runs or wickets. It was about collaboration, cheering from the sidelines, and colleagues supporting colleagues. Female employees cheered in full force, bringing a vivacious energy and making the event inclusive and memorable.
