No summer at Ropstam is complete without the annual Ropstam Premier League (RPL). This year, RPL Season 4 brought even more excitement and fierce competition to the cricket field. Teams battled it out with skill and determination, resulting in a cricket tournament like no other. From the hard work of the organizing team to the thrill of victory moments, this RPL season had everything to keep the crowd at the edge of their seats.
Unprecedented Excitement Levels
The tournament lived up to its hype as the vigor and enthusiasm on display soared to new heights. With a total of 10 teams and a record number of participants in the competition, you can guess how pumped everyone was for this once-a-year event. The pre-tournament quizzes and promotional videos added to the thrill and suspense.
The Chaklala Cricket Ground – the venue selected for this year’s RPL – provided a new challenge and opportunity for each team to adapt to the new playing conditions. As soon as the dates of the tournament were announced, the preparations commenced to make sure that all the teams felt at home while showcasing their skills at one of the most fun-filled events of the summer season.
A Tournament Unlike Any Other
This year, the cricket team from our Lahore office became the official guests of the Islamabad team members, and special arrangements were made to ensure their visit became a memorable one. The arrival of the Lahore team, combined with a new format and a record number of teams, made this RPL a cricket tournament that won’t be forgotten by anyone who was at the ground anytime soon.
The Road To Glory
In the end, we all remember the triumphant team and the winning moments, don’t we? After 24 riveting encounters, it was time for Ropstam Falcons and Ropstam Matadors to compete in the all-important finale. Amid the roar of the crowd, it was the Falcons – our Lahore office team – that ended up lifting the trophy, setting new records on their way to glory. Culminating the event, our honorary CEO, Sir Wali Hassan, awarded the trophy to the winning side as the celebrations began.
This RPL proved how important extracurricular activities are for reinvigorating employees and promoting teamwork and leadership qualities. Ropstam is committed to organizing more such events in the near future, providing more opportunities for our teams from Lahore and Islamabad offices to collaborate.
