The Challenge
Homeowners often have little to no visibility into what maintenance their properties will require over the coming months or years. Unexpected repair costs create financial pressure, insurance carriers lack structured access to high-value item risk data, and real estate agents have no efficient way to transfer verified property records during sales.
The client needed a unified platform that could solve these issues while supporting:
AI-driven maintenance forecasting
Home inventory management
High-value item tracking with insurance workflows
Secure document storage and sharing
Property transfer from seller to buyer
Subscription-based access control
Multi-role support for homeowners, partners, and admins
The platform also needed to be secure, scalable, and ready for real-world partner adoption.
The Solution
Ropstam built ReadilyHome from the ground up as a multi-role property technology platform focused on prediction, collaboration, and secure data continuity.
Solution Features
The solution included:
- A React-based web application
- A Node.js and MongoDB backend
- A RagBot-powered AI forecast engine
- A Stripe subscription system
- A secure AWS S3-based file and image storage workflow
- And a full admin and partner management dashboard
The system was designed around five key user roles:
- Homeowner
- Partner/Agent
- Admin
Each role received dedicated flows, permissions, and dashboards. From forecasting future maintenance costs to transferring a full home history to a buyer, the platform digitized the full property lifecycle.

Key Features
ReadilyHome includes a robust set of features designed to simplify property maintenance planning, document handling, insurance coordination, and ownership transfer.
AI Maintenance Forecasting
Powered by RagBot, the platform generates maintenance forecasts based on:
- Property location
- Asset lifespan
- Current condition
- Property-specific details
This helps homeowners plan upcoming work and costs by month and year instead of reacting only when problems appear.
Home Inventory Management
Homeowners can create and manage a complete inventory of home assets with support for:
- Item categorization
- Photo uploads
- High-value item flags
- Secure cloud storage on AWS S3
Inventory data is protected using encryption at rest.
High-Value Items & Insurance
A dedicated module was developed for valuable household items. Users can log, organize, and flag these items for insurance-related workflows. The platform also integrates with insurance carrier APIs, allowing carriers to assess high-value items directly through the system.
This feature proved especially valuable when an insurance carrier signed a letter of intent after seeing the product in action before launch.
Doc Vault
ReadilyHome includes a secure document vault where homeowners can store:
- Warranties
- Receipts
- Inspection reports
- Property-related records
The vault supports full CRUD functionality and allows users to selectively share individual files or grouped documents with agents or insurers via email.
Property Transfer Flow
When a property is sold, Homeowners can transfer relevant home data to the buyer, including:
- Forecast records
- Project history
- Property details
- Selected supporting documents
Homeowners can also download a project history report and choose exactly what data should move to the next owner.
Partner / Agent Dashboard
Agents and property partners have access to a dedicated dashboard where they can:
- Manage client properties
- Review maintenance activity
- Access analytics
- Monitor property-related project logs
The dashboard supports partner collaboration and provides better visibility into homeowner activity and property health.
Stripe Subscription System
Ropstam implemented a subscription-based feature access model powered by Stripe. The system includes:
- Free and paid subscription tiers
- Upgrade flows and modals
- Webhook handling
- Card validation
- Feature gating based on the plan level
This created a monetization structure for both homeowners and partners.
Authentication & Onboarding
Automated background processes were added to maintain player records, including:
- games attended
- bookings completed
- and other participation data
This allows users to view a running history of their basketball activity over time.
Admin Portal
A complete administration panel was built for managing the entire ecosystem. Admins can:
- Monitor users and partners
- View analytics and activity charts
- Configure platform settings
- Oversee subscription and engagement data
