About GreenTag
GreenTag is an Android and iOS app that lets users (buyers) scan and inspect homes or properties, using AI-powered analysis to automatically detect potential defects or damages before making an offer. Users can add and manage multiple properties within the app, capturing room-level details and generating structured inspection reports.
The app offers one-time purchase and subscription plans, giving users access to premium features such as:
- Localized cost estimates

- Expanded AI chatbot (Ask Dena) messaging access

The Challenge
The client initially came to us with incomplete Figma designs, which we refined and completed before the development phase. Later, they proceeded with another team for development but were unsatisfied with the results due to unfinished features and inconsistencies. They then returned to us to take over and complete the project successfully.
The Solution
During the project, the design phase focused on enhancing and completing the existing Figma designs by redesigning incomplete screens, refining UI/UX consistency, and updating icons and language. When the project was returned to us for development after being handled by another team, we conducted a comprehensive QA audit to identify and fix bugs, improve workflow logic, and optimize overall app performance. Our team also developed a new RAG-based chatbot, “Ask Dena,” integrated with OpenAI, enabling users to ask property-specific questions using stored data and reports. Missing features, including property walkthroughs, defect detection, single-room reporting, and repair estimates, were implemented. Additionally, offline data persistence, background upload retry mechanisms, and automated image cleanup were added to ensure smooth performance and reliability.
