The Challenge
Managing real-time waste disposal operations was complex, dispatchers lacked visibility into driver activity, job tracking was manual, and location updates were unreliable. The client needed a unified mobile platform for seamless coordination, tracking, and communication.
The Solution
We built Phantom Disposal, a React Native based fleet management app enabling real-time job dispatch, GPS tracking, background location services, and live chat between drivers and dispatchers ensuring smooth operations and accountability.
Discovery
Our team conducted detailed sessions with the client to understand pain points in existing workflows from manual job assignment to communication gaps. This discovery phase defined the core requirements: live tracking, job automation, and attendance management.

Designing & Wireframing
Interactive wireframes and clean UI layouts were crafted focusing on ease of navigation for both drivers and dispatchers. The design ensured clarity in real-time maps, job details, and fleet management dashboards.We mapped the full project lifecycle from requirement gathering and technical architecture to UI/UX design, development, and testing ensuring a scalable, cross-platform mobile app aligned with operational goals.
App Development
Using React Native 0.74, Redux Toolkit, and Socket.io, we implemented real-time features like driver tracking, chat, and background location services. Integration with Firebase, Google Maps, and WebSockets provided robust communication and scalability.
Web Development
We Built a comprehensive Admin Dashboard using ReactJS for managing drivers, locations, and job assignments in real time. The platform includes an advanced chat module, enabling admins to create user groups and facilitate communication across teams. The backend is powered by Node.js and MongoDB, ensuring scalability and efficient data management. Integration with WebSockets provides seamless real-time updates and synchronization across all connected clients.
Testing and Launch
The app underwent rigorous QA testing for performance, GPS accuracy, and background tracking stability on both Android and iOS. After successful user acceptance testing, Phantom Disposal was deployed for production use with smooth onboarding and minimal downtime.
